Throughout 2023, our team members across our dealerships participated in truck shows and events in their communities. Take a look at some of the events that our team was involved in!
Diesel Jam- Hunter Truck- Scranton
On June 10th, our Hunter Truck- Scranton team was a sponsor at the 2023 Andrew Mazza Diesel Jam! There was a great turnout of attendees, vendors, multiple classes of trucks, and more, all to support a great cause.
Diesel Jam is an event that is held year after year in memory of Andrew Mazza, a hometown hero that worked in, and loved the diesel industry. All the proceeds from this year’s Diesel Jam benefit the Trucks for Trades program that provides scholarships exclusively to students in the Northeast PA region pursuing trade careers. Over 20 scholarships will be awarded to students currently enrolled, or that are pursuing a career in the diesel industry, or other trades.
Hunter Truck- Buffalo 15th Anniversary
This past June, our Hunter Truck- Buffalo location celebrated their 15th anniversary! The event featured a truck show made up of Peterbilt’s all owned by customers of Hunter Truck Buffalo. We also had vendors, parts specials, demos, giveaways, great food, and good times.
Thank you to our customers, vendors, family members, and friends that helped our team in Buffalo celebrate this milestone!
Paul Riggle Truck Show- Hunter Truck-Butler
Our Hunter Truck- Butler team was happy to once again be a part of The Paul Riggle Truck Show in Apollo, Pa this summer. Since 2012, team members in Butler have attended the show, and in more recent years donated a big screen tv that gets awarded the recipient of the ‘Best in Show’ award. Each year members of the Riggle family choose a cause to donate the money from entry fees and the 50/50 pot. This year’s funds went to Suicide Prevention, and the gentlemen that won the 50/50 donated his half back as part of the total sum donated.
Cable Truck Show- Hunter Truck- Butler
The 7th Annual Cable Truck Show was hosted this year on September 9th, 2023 at their main office and shop located in Saltsburg, PA. Local fleet drivers and owner operators brought their trucks out to show off and enter best-in-show contests while others came for the food, music, and entertainment. Jeff Cable Sr. and his family continue to provide awesome shows year after year while supporting their local truck dealerships and community by hosting this event.
Hunter Truck Butler plays a nice role in the sponsorship of the event by providing giveaway prizes and numerous trucks to show off new products entering the marketplace. The show takes place every year just before September 11th so make sure you watch out for the flyer next year!
New Jersey League of Municipalities Annual Conference and Exhibit
Our team at Hunter Truck Clarksburg attended the 108th annual New Jersey League of Municipalities Annual Conference and Exhibit this fall. Members of our sales team Paul Fehn, Bryan Wible, Chris Turk, Jimmy Asquith, and Steve Bigwood attended the event. We displayed two trucks – a Peterbilt 220 EV demo truck and a Peterbilt 220 automated side loading truck that belongs to a customer of Clarksburg, Stafford Township. Also in attendance in our booth was customer Current Trucking who displayed a mobile EV charger. Current Trucking provides an end-to-end solution that includes trucks, charging infrastructure, and support services.
