Early this year, Hunter Truck’s Human Resources department organized fundraising for a very important cause: heart disease. In support of #WearRedDay all Hunter Truck locations raised money for the American Heart Association in honor of our dedication to a positive, healthy work environment for our team members, our families, and our surrounding communities.
“The first Friday each February, American Heart Month, the nation comes together, igniting a wave of red from coast to coast. From landmarks to online communities, neighborhoods to news anchors, this annual groundswell unites millions of people for a common goal: the eradication of heart disease and stroke.” – heart.org
Hunter Truck hosted a $5 donation heart print campaign that was available to all employees. In addition, all Hunter Truck locations were invited to wear Red on selected Fridays throughout March to spread awareness of heart disease.
In total, Hunter Truck was able to raise nearly $1,500 to donate to the American Heart Association, a national, non-profit, voluntary health agency that is dedicated to the reduction of death and disability from cardiovascular diseases including heart diseases and stroke.
Giving back to the community is one of the central pillars at Hunter Truck. The organization is proud to unite efforts with its team members for this cause, and many more.
